This scooper is
ideal for serving from stiffer material. Being constructed of stainless steel,
this scoop cleans up very well and with the hemisphere being 2.25 inches in
diameter, the portions are nice. For many situations, one scoop would be
sufficient for a serving. The bar is also tight against the dish, so there is
little residue after it is emptied.
The handle is a
maximum of 2.5 inches wide and tapers down to 1.5 inches at the end of the
gripping surface. It fits easily in your hand, giving you the best leverage for
squeezing, even those with weaker hand strength will be able to use it
effectively. The edge of the scoop is also fine, giving you a cutting edge when
dipping into stiffer material such as ice cream.
