This large book
contains a template for the making of a wide variety of masks. It is an
egg-shaped figure with eyes, nose and a place to insert ribbons for tying it
on. From this, detailed instructions for making four specific types of masks
are given.
Those masks
are: Venetian carnival, stage masks, Noh stage and Iroquois seasons mask. The steps
are completely illustrated and are easy to follow. All of the raw materials are
inexpensive and easy to obtain. This book is ideal for school art projects as
well as group projects for scout troops.
