Review of Zero Grid Collapsible Umbrella

Review of

Zero Grid Collapsible Umbrella

Five out of five stars

This umbrella has a spring-loaded mechanism that forces you to take care when you press the button. It snaps out quickly and with force, there is the potential to knock items off of shelves or whack a person that is within range. There are two buttons on the umbrella, one that expands and the other that will cause the canopy to contract. Significant force is needed to press the rod back down into the handle.
When fully extended, the canopy provides adequate coverage to protect you from the rain. The handle is thick, nearly 1.5 inches in diameter, making it easy to grip. There is a small LED light in the end of the handle that is bright enough to light your way when it is dark.
Another interesting feature is that the bottom section of the handle will twist to form what is approximately a thirty degree angle. This conformed very well to my hand, allowing for a more solid and controlling grip. The umbrella easily rolls up and slides back into the carrying bag for storage. The bag has a sturdy clip on the side so it can be latched onto a backpack or belt loop for easy and convenient carrying.
This is an excellent umbrella, both sturdy and functional. It will last for some time, protecting you from the rain and sun.
