Written by two
experienced investigative journalists that are backed by more than 20
reporters, fact checkers and editors, this book is a revealing biography of a
presidential candidate of a major party. In many ways, there really is not
anything new about Donald J. Trump in this summary that has not already
appeared in the news coverage. The one difference is that all of the
questionable aspects of his life are consolidated in one book.
The content of
the summary gives the reader a perspective on Trump that reminds you of a line
from a movie, “He is a legend in his own mind.” It is stated in many ways in
the summary that Trump seems to believe in his own hype that he is a wildly successful
businessman. As sources indicate, he may not even be a billionaire, which would
make the prospect of public viewing of his tax returns even more interesting.
As a follower
of the political news media, there was nothing in this summary that was new to
me. Yet, I found it very interesting and it generated a strong desire to read
the book.
