Review of
Infographic Instaread Summary of Armageddon, by Dick Morris and Eileen McGann
Three out of five stars
I have read and
reviewed the Instaread summary of this book, so I have more detailed background
knowledge of the book than others coming to it fresh. This infographic
accurately captures what appeared in the summary, which can be summarized in
the simplistic, “Trump good and a savior, Hillary a disaster of biblical
proportions.”
All of the
points within this umbrella are also simplistic, both in the visual and textual
senses. One of the most deceitful is the one with the caption, “Immigration is
a top concern that Hillary Clinton does not understand.” Of course there is
nothing about what Trump has said or whether he understands it. There are three
people in the illustration of this page. One is clearly an Islamic male with a
beard and a turban, another is obviously a black man and the third has a bushy
mustache right out of the villains in the old silent movies. Immigration is far
too complex an issue to be dealt with in such a simplistic manner.
This
infographic will grab and capture the person that already believes the Trump
good and Hillary evil position. If you believe the reverse, then it will send
you elsewhere. However, it is unlikely that it will entice many between those
extremes.
