Instaread Summary of The Making of Donald Trump by David Cay Johnston

This summary
demonstrates that the book is a very harsh treatment of Donald Trump, the near
contempt that Johnston has for him shines out in every key takeaway. According
to Johnston, Trump is a fraud and a failure in nearly everything that he has
done, with of course the exception of rising to the top of the presidential
ticket of a major party.
To me, the most
interesting fact in the summary was the Trump families long association with
the infamous lawyer Roy Cohn. Cohn is most known for his association with
Senator Joseph McCarthy and the communist witch hunts. Cohn was a combative,
unrepentant disturber of the truth, traits that have often been used to
describe Trump.
This summary is
an item that should be read by all people interested in making the right
decision regarding the person to vote for in the 2016 presidential election.
Johnston is a skilled investigative journalist and is known for being
non-partisan in his reporting. This is a case where if even only a high
percentage of what appears in the summary is true, then Trump should not be
installed as president.
