The two
pendants are surprisingly light, although they are sturdier than they look and
feel. Both of them are of the tree of life, appear to be identical and are permanently
connected to the cord. While the color of the pendants is silver, they are not
very shiny, if the light is not directly on them, they tend to blend into the
background.
The cord is approximately seventy inches long and very
black. It is constructed of a fabric that feels like soft felt, so it will be
very gentle on your skin. Given that the cord is so long, it is designed to be
wrapped around your neck at least twice and either tied or looped to hold it in
place.
This is an
unusual necklace in the sense that it is not flashy, nowhere close to the level
of bling. Yet the pendants were rated as pretty by the librarian that I
consulted. However, if you are someone that enjoys wearing jewelry that blends
in rather than stands out, this is a necklace you will find satisfactory.
