KenCa BBQ Gloves -Heat Resistant Silicone Gloves with Inner Cotton Layer for Oven, Cooking, Baking and Grilling

Five out of five stars
These gloves are easy to slide on and off, the inner lining is soft and comfortable. They also are very effective in protecting your hands from high heat. As a test, I turned the oven up to well over 400 degrees, put a casserole pan in and then let it go until the ready signal was sounded.
When taking the pan out I held it for much longer than would ordinarily be necessary with only the beginning of the heat moving into my hands to the level of discomfort. The rubber nubbins on the fingers and palms also gives you a solid grip on things, even when they are wet.
Another very positive feature is that moisture is not a hazard. The only time that I suffered an injury using an oven mitt was with a cloth one. There was moisture on the pan that I was removing and I was unaware of that. It soaked through the mitt and of course was near the boiling point. That will not happen with these waterproof gloves.
