Instaread Summary, Analysis & Review of John Gray's Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus: The Classic Guide to Understanding the Opposite Sex

Five out of five stars
The book being described is one of the few self-help books that has staying power. It was first published in 1992 and is one of the bestselling nonfiction books of all time. This is due to the fundamentals of the book, inherent and understandable differences between the genders. The content is something that nearly all people can relate to. If you are one of the people that have not read the book, this summary explains the contents very well and will prompt you to consider reading it.
The key takeaways are points that make sense, provided you are willing to recognize that they are general principles regarding differences in gender and not absolutes. For example, numbers three and four are:

“Women need to feel heard and understood.”
“Men need time and space to recharge.”

These points of course apply to both genders, the implied context is that the first should be prefaced with “More than men..” and the second by “More than women ...”
That rather soft criticism aside, this is one of the best Instaread summaries that I have read. Work your way through it and you know all that is necessary to make the read/don’t read decision.
