The sounds on
this disc are exactly what the label states, although they are a little
stronger than some may prefer. These are not the sounds of gentle waves washing
onto a sandy beach, the waves are larger ones crashing onto a rocky surface, so
the sound is a bit louder than what is the usual natural water noises used to
isolate your brain.
The advantage
is of course that it will drown out loud, unwanted noise such as traffic or
construction work. There is little change in the type of sounds or in the
volume throughout the full hour of the disc. Therefore, it quickly becomes
background noise that is so familiar you are able to concentrate on tasks that
require all of your brain.
