 There are four wooden block puzzles in this package and all are initially very challenging. They come assembled and when you first look at them it appears impossible to take them apart. The mutually interlocking nature of the pieces is both daunting and deceptive. Like most of the best puzzles of this form, there is generally an obvious first move that proves to be the wrong thing to do.

 Of course there are ways to take them apart and there are hints on the back of the box. What you see there is what you generally cannot see from examining the assembled structure, the one piece that is different. By exploiting the difference and manipulating that piece, disassembly becomes possible.

 Experienced puzzlers will most likely already have experienced these styles of puzzles and will be able to solve them very quickly. For others, there will be a challenge, but of limited interest once it is solved. With only a few pieces to the structure and the solution easy once done, this is not a puzzle that you will do over and over again.
