Review of
Astronauts
on the Moon: The Story of the Apollo Moon Landings,
A Hallmark Pop-up Book
Five out of five stars
Despite being a
manipulative book written for children, this one is very descriptive with surprisingly
detailed explanations. The reader will learn most of the significant aspects of
an Apollo mission to the moon, from the initial blast-off of the mighty Saturn
V to the terminating splashdown in the ocean.
The images are
very well done, and the reader cannot help but be impressed by the detail of
the lunar module (LM) pop-up. This is a great primer of the Apollo missions for
the young reader.
