Review of Instaread Summary of "Tears to Triumph The Spiritual Journey from Suffering to Enlightenment" by Marianne Williamson

Review of

Instaread Summary of Tears to Triumph The Spiritual Journey from Suffering to Enlightenment by Marianne Williamson

Four out of five stars

From this summary, it is clear that this is a book where the appeal will tend to be at the extremes, with little landing in the middle.  If you are someone that finds simplistic and repetitive appeals to love and spirituality appealing, then it will attract you. However, if such a self-help approach does not interest you, then you will pass it by. Most others will be indifferent.
The following line from the summary encapsulates it all very well.
“At times, the writing is repetitive due to the simplicity of her message and her repeated claims that love is all that is real.”
The main message of channeling your pain and suffering into helping others is a good one, for most people the best way to heal is to help others manage their suffering. Examples of people who did that are used. However, the simplistic and repetitive form of the advice comes through very clear in this summary.
