Review of Measupro Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor

Review of

Measupro Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor

This device is ideal for home monitoring of a person’s blood pressure and pulse rate. It is very easy to use, simply wrap it around a bicep, press the proper button and then wait for it to complete the cycle and display the results. The display is very easy to read, the digits for the blood pressure are nearly an inch high and are almost 0.5 inches wide. The digits displaying the pulse rate are 0.5 inches high and 0.25 inches wide. The screen is also color coded for warnings. If the BP is very high the background color is red and if it is in the region of concern the background color is yellow.
There is one significant problem with the monitor, the length of the tube connecting the cuff to the device. It is slightly over 20 inches long, giving you limited flexibility regarding the distance between them. I found the point of greatest likelihood of exceeding the distance was when I took it off my arm.
The monitor is small, 5 inches long, 4 inches wide and 3 inches high, making it easy to transport and store. It is capable of storing up to 60 records in memory if a log is needed. If you are looking for a blood pressure monitor for home use that is small and easy to use, this one will work very well for you.
