Review of "The Baseball Hall of Shame’s Warped Record Book," by Bruce Nash and Allan Zullo

Review of
The Baseball Hall of Shame’s Warped Record Book, by Bruce Nash and Allan Zullo, ISBN 0020294859

Five out of five stars
Readers that have followed baseball for some time will be familiar with many of these amusing anecdotes from the game of baseball. For example, there are the classic stories involving Babe Herman, including the time when he was one of three runners simultaneously on third base. That story has appeared in many publications.
However, along with the more commonly known events, there are many more that are unusual, if not completely zany. There is the record number of outs recorded when a ball bounced off the head of a fielder (3), the record for most bonbons eaten before a game (24), the most oysters consumed in a pregame meal (100) and the most consecutive losses on a Thursday (16).
If you enjoy oddball facts involving baseball or the men that have played it, then this is a book you will enjoy.
