This connecting
cable works exactly as advertised and needed. Each side plugs into the female
socket with ease and the cord is very flexible. I had no trouble folding the
entire 3.3 feet of cord down into a tight bundle less than three inches long
and one inch wide. Wrap a wire or rubber band around it and it can be stuffed
into a corner of a small pack or a tote for your laptop. The cord also strongly
resists tangles, something I appreciate as I always seem to suffer from attacks
by the cord knotting gremlins.
While I did not
run any comparison tests with other cords of the same length, there seemed to
be no difference in the elapsed time for a data transfer when this cord is used
versus others. The list of compatible devices is also impressive, one cord fits
all.
