Review of
Cracked
#267 November 1991
Five out of five stars
This magazine
is flat out funny. There are parodies of “Robin Hood,” “Roger Rabbit” and “Backdraft,”
three Mother Goose stories, some fancy titles for mundane jobs, and some great
takes on common comic strips such as Beetle Bailey and Dick Tracy. My favorite
of all is “Don Martin’s One Fine Day at the Race Track.” It is only two
captions, but the punch line is great.
Guaranteed to brighten even a freezing rainy day, this
magazine is still funny almost thirty years after initial publication.
